The jazz category is now under the umbrella of the ARIA Fine Arts Awards, which also include the awards for best classical album, original soundtrack and world music album. The event will be broadcast nationally on ABC Classic FM.
To be eligible for the awards, albums must have been released between 16 August 2005 and 5 August 2006 inclusive.
