Following on from a year of creative development residencies and performances on Cockatoo Island, places + spaces moves to a pop up space in the Rocks.
The aim is to provide an affordable space, for trying out new ideas, putting on a performance or a workshop. It is open to all creators of new Australian music.
Some of the exciting new projects from 2011 moved from creation, through to performances at the Sydney Festival and later this year the Darling Harbour Jazz festival and others.
A performance program will take place in May and June as part of the Rocks partnership with the Vivid Festival. There are opportunities to perform at 47 George Street during this Festival.
