The inaugural Samford Valley Jazz Food and Wine Festival is being held at The Samford Valley Hotel, Samford Valley (winner of the QHA Awards for Excellence 2004 Best Redeveloped Hotel up to $1 Million) on Saturday the 6th of August 2005.
The Samford Valley Jazz Food and Wine Festival will run from 12 Midday until late, with a fantastic line up of Brisbane and interstate acts playing non – stop Live Jazz from two stages for your listening pleasure! Some of the acts include the Dave Bentley Quintet, Stacey Broughton & The Brand New Sweeties, The Ingrid James Quintet featuring Sydney boys Matt Baker & Adrian Cunningham and The Dan Quigley Trio plus much, much more! Delicious gourmet food stalls featuring Thai, Japanese, Pacific Oysters freshly Shucked to order and served in a variety of ways, Fresh Salads and a Gourmet Seafood BBQ to name a few will be situated around the festival. A selection from the Samford Valley Hotel’s Garden Grill a la carte menu will be available on the day and a variety of themed dishes created especially for the festival.
Premium and Imported beers and a comprehensive selection of boutique wines can be enjoyed at six different bars throughout the hotel.
