Terry ClarkHi, there is so much going on over the next couple of weekends I thought it was worthwhile to do a round up.  Too much to capture in this short newsletter, but just to get your listening juices flowing.

The Melbourne International Jazz Festival kicks off this weekend and there are lots of events and also free performances in Fed Square. Thanks to Melbourne, who have very kindly shared the love so that performers such as Chic Corea and Gary Burton, Joshua Redman, Chris Dave, Larry Carlton – can be seen in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney and sometimes at all three.  Many of these artists have already sold out or are selling fast for their club dates.  So don't think about it, just buy that ticket.  City Recital Hall in Sydney has a special ticket offer for Charles Lloyd and Maria Farantouri, also performing in Sydney next week (Special offer info).

Plus there are events like the Big Bland Blast off in Port Macquarie, Vivid is in Sydney and if you want to come indoor from the lights has some jazz offerings such as Brianna Cowlishaw and her Wires Project and Phillip Johnston's Prince Achmed. There is also the Australian premiere of an award winning independent film about Clark Terry at the Sydney Film Festival.

So winter, a month to be out and see & hear it live!

Just a quick reminder, if you have your own exciting events on offer, we welcome listings.  It's free and you can upload them yourself.
