PROGRAM UPDATE                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           As the Sun Ra Arkestra’s performance at The Forum (Sun 5 June) has almost sold out, it has been announced that the legendary Arkestra will perform an intimate club show on Saturday 4 June.Taking place at Melbourne’s best-kept secret, The Kelvin Club, this additional performance is the perfect pre-event to our late-night rendezvous the Cave. Tickets are $40 and went on sale at 12 noon, Friday 20 May – visit the website for details. This over-18’s event has a limited capacity and is sure to sell fast.

Reuben Rogers and Greg Hutchinson to open for Hypnotic Brass Ensemble                                                                                                                                                                                         Long-term collaborators Reuben Rogers (bass) and Greg Hutchinson (drums) will be performing a stripped back groove set that explores their hip-hop influences and gospel upbringing as the opening act for Hypnotic Brass Ensemble at the Forum Theatre on Tuesday 7 June. Rogers and Hutchinson are touring to Melbourne to perform as part of the Aaron Goldberg Trio and 3Cohens Sextet.
