The Australian National Eisteddfod Society will hold the annual Bands and Orchestras Eisteddfod – Jazz Section on the 29th May 09 at Canberra Girls Grammar School Hall. With over 20 performances there is sure to be some Jazz for everyone to enjoy.
The evening will begin with school aged Jazz Bands and end with the Open Jazz Bands which will feature performances by local favourites including Twilight Jazz Band, Spectrum Big Band and TraXion. Ticket prices for the Jazz section of the Eisteddfod are $8 for an adult and $5 for a concession/child. More information, including a timetable, can be found at www.nationaleisteddfod.org.au.
