Nominations for the 2008 Australian Jazz Awards close today, 15 February.
Anyone may nominate artists or ensembles in the following categories:
– Best Australian Jazz Vocal Album
– Best Australian Contemporary Jazz Album
– Best Australian Classic Jazz Album
– Best Australian Jazz Composition of the Year
– Best Australian Jazz Ensemble of the Year
– Young Australian Jazz Artist of the Year
– Australian Jazz Artist of the Year
– Graeme Bell Hall of Fame
The short list will be announced in the first week of April and the winners will be announced at a free awards ceremony on 29 April in Melbourne.
