In the month of April, APRA is supporting a range of jazz focussed events.
Kicking it off is a special event focussing on jazz composition and performance together with introductions to local organisations Jazzgroove and SIMA.
Highly sought after composer and performer Matt McMahon will be put under the spotlight to discuss the experiences, influences, methods, highlights, challenges and successes that have a shaped a distinguished career in both the Australian and international jazz scenes.
Joining Matt will be representatives from Jazzgroove, John Hibbard and SIMA (Sydney Improvised Music Association), Joanne Kee to give you an insight into their organisations and what they do as specialists in the jazz and improvised music arenas.
