After over thirty years presenting the finest jazz in Sydney, SIMA  (Sydney Improvised Music Association)  are thrilled to be holding their first regional festival in Berry on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10th May, 2015.

This is a new jazz event for the historic town of Berry taking place on  9th and 10th May 2015 “This inaugural festival showcases a diverse range of jazz music. Headlining is Vince Jones one of Australia’s leading jazz vocalists. – known for his incomparable tone and spontaneity. The beautiful, melodies of Matt McMahon’s solo piano, to the original swinging jazz, blues and Latin music from the Phillip Johnston Septet  – all make for a weekend of fabulous jazz in a great setting,” says Joanne Kee, Creative Director. Brimming with historic charm, the village of Berry nestled within the rolling green hinterland of the NSW South Coast is famous for boutique shopping, buzzing restaurants and cafes, and breathtaking scenery. Now it is going to put Jazz on the calendar too.
