The Brisbane Festival announces a program of Sunday afternoon local and international jazz bands programmed by Jazz Queensland during Brisbane Festival 2012.

Brisbane Festival Artistic Director Noel Staunton said Jazz on Sunday sessions at The Courier-Mail Spiegeltent were the perfect way to cap off a weekend full of Festival activities.

“After a busy weekend of attending Brisbane Festival performances, Festival-goers can sit back and relax with some world-class jazz extraordinaires,” said Mr Staunton.

Jazz on Sunday is a collaboration between Jazz Queensland and Brisbane Festival and will fill three afternoons with modern and classic grooves featuring performances by New York jazz saxophonist and composer Jacam Manricks and Australia’s leading contemporary jazz guitarist Jim Kelly.
