Now in its third year, Perth International Jazz Festival is the only dedicated Jazz festival in Western Australia. With over 52 jazz performances taking place in 17 venues throughout Perth. The three-day festival will host celebrated local, national and international jazz artists.

Festival highlights include Richard Bona (NYC), recognised as one of the planets five revelations of the last decade; Grammy nominated pianist, keyboardist, composer and arranger, Barney McAll (NYC); Perth-born Parisian, revelled for her jazz and hip-hop style, Rachel Claudio (Paris); award winning vocalist and songwriter, Tina Harrod (SYD) and leading Polish Jazz band, Artur Dutkiewicz Trio (Poland).

PIJF will deliver a wide range of popular and innovative international, national and local jazz artists. Artistic Director Graham Wood felt that the highly talented pool of Jazz players from Perth deserved a platform and dedicated event to reach the fans of this celebrated and talented art form.  “I’m really looking forward to hearing and experiencing the amazing talent that is assembled for our third annual Jazz festival. From the some of the biggest names on the International festival circuit, to the burgeoning talent of high school and WAAPA Jazz students, the festival will be an event not to be missed”, said Mr Wood.

With over 35 Jazz festivals across Australia, PIJF, now in its third year, is the only dedicated Jazz festival in Western Australia. The Festival’s aim is to bring inspiring music by many talented musicians to Perth in an accessible and vibrant way.

PIJF is supported by partner Brookfield, and community partner Lotterywest.
