Local jazz pianist Jeremy Woolhouse is featuring in a series of concerts launching a unique music venue.  Baker Street Studios, renowned as a professional recording studio, is opening an 33 seat auditorium painstakingly acoustically perfected by experts in the field to bring concert hall acoustics to jazz club intimacy.

The project is the brainchild of sound engineer Alan Neuendorf  and Darren Springthorpe – a passionate audiophile and bikie known as "Rain Man".  He has a vision to educate audiences and revive the aesthetic of listeners drowned in compressed audio.  Darren and Alan have teamed up with Mark Doehmann to record the concerts live.  To preserve the integrity of the artistic works to a maximum, the recordings will exclusively be released on limited edition, heavy-weight vinyl and lacquers created direct from the master source.

The studio is matching their top end audio setup with high profile local performers.  The Autumn series of concerts feature Jeremy Woolhouse who is taking advantage of the intimate setting to premiere a suite of pieces for solo piano, launch a new duet collaboration with revered woodwind multi-instrumentalist Lachlan Davidson, and reunite in duo with Shannon Birchall – an extraordinary virtuoso of double bass.

The concerts feature Jeremy’s lyrical style of jazz composition, with influences of world and classical music.  He is reputed for performances of broad appeal, both relaxing and captivating.  Baker St is an ideal setting to experience and capture these qualities.
