Following the appointment of Umbria Jazz Festival’s Carlo Pagnotta as Artistic Director of the Melbourne International Jazz Festival (after the resignation of Adrian Jackson), the full program of the revamped event, together with the official announcement of substantial State support via Major Events funding, will be announced at a launch on February 3.
A double bill of the Wayne Shorter Quartet and John Scofield Trio on May 13 has already been announced,with tickets on sale from mid-December.
